This summer, the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 is coming to Switzerland — and the stage is set in eight iconic stadiums! From legendary football moments to epic concerts and unexpected guests (yes, even a marten!), these venues are ready to make history again.

The Swissporarena is the perfect spot for families with kids! Since its opening in 2011, it’s been awarded the KIPA Luzern prize for its fantastic child-friendly atmosphere and hosted several matches of the Swiss national team, including games against Romania in 2023 and Estonia in 2024!

Sion - Stade de Tourbillon

Inaugurated in 1968, the Stade de Tourbillon is one of the oldest stadiums in Switzerland. Nestled in the heart of the Valais Alps, it has hosted giants like Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe, and Liverpool on its pitch. Its name, inspired by the nearby Tourbillon Castle, reflects the rich historical heritage of Sion.

Since 2011, the Stockhorn Arena has hosted memorable moments, including a Switzerland vs. Liechtenstein national team match. It has also welcomed events like the 2022 Cantonale Bernese Wrestling Festival. The venue even saw a marten make a surprise visit during a Super League match!

In 1960, Armin Hary made history here as the first man to run 100 meters in just 10 seconds. Today, Letzigrund hosts Swiss national football matches and concerts by icons like Beyoncé, Madonna, and Ed Sheeran!

Since 2003, this sleek stadium has seen it all: EURO 2008 action, Swiss national team clashes, UEFA Women’s Champions League nights — even rugby and ice hockey!

In 2023, AZ Alkmaar made history here with a 5-0 win in the UEFA Youth League final.
