A taste of Italy comes to the House of Switzerland on 13 June.

A thin ray of sunshine lit up the House of Switzerland yesterday in the late afternoon, almost miraculous on such an overcast day...

On the Wanderlust terrace, the Italian and Belgian fans tucked into the hearty Swiss fare that was on offer at the Heimweh restaurant – Zürcher Geschnetzeltes and a mountain of sausages from Geneva – as they waited for the kick-off at 9pm. In the end it was the Italian team that prevailed: 2-0 for the Azzurri.

To round off the celebrations,  'Bianca', a bittersweet comedy by the renowned Italian film-maker Nanni Moretti, was projected on Wanderlust's giant screen at 11pm, transforming the Wanderlust terrace into a 'Piazza-Grande-on-the-Seine' where the audience were able to lean back and enjoy the moment.

Please note that next Monday, as on every Monday during Euro 2016, the Festival del film Locarno will be back at 11pm, this time screening 'Offside ' by Iranian director Jafar Panahi.
