Street Art with the graffiti and plastic Artist ACME

The graffiti and plastic artist Carlos Esquivel also known as ACME, has created two panels bringing some swiss-brazilian lifestyle by combining our two most iconic tenis stars – Guga and Roger Federer. 

Born at the Pavão-Pavãozinho community in Copacabana, Acme is internationally known for his pioneering work in the carioca graffiti scene. 

He’s already exhibited in galleries across Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, France and Argentina. In 2011 he’s represented Brazil at the EUROGRAFF - where graffiti artists from around the world met and showcased their work and won the second place. He has been the leader of the winning Copa Graffiti 2012 team, where they portrayed the history of the Tomás Coelho neighborhood, and has been selected to illustrate Rio’s 450^th anniversary at the metro station Vicente de Carvalho during the Copa Graffiti 2014. On top of that, he’s actively participated in various projects across different communities in Rio de Janeiro, like the “Circuito das Casas-Tela” and the “Museu de Favela”, to which he’s been one of the leading founders.
