Schindler had the honour of establishing the first industrial joint venture in China in 1980, immediately after former president Deng Xiaoping opened the doors to foreign enterprises. 28 years later we are proud to have our products running at the national stadium or bird's nest, where the 2008 Olympic Games opening ceremony will be held.
