Swiss Creative Day - with Gilles Peterson

On Swiss Creative Day, Switzerland displays its creative side and urban art will be celebrated in the House of Switzerland.

12:00 – 17:00 Street Art Kiosk
One Truth, urban artists from Zürich, will run a small “street art kiosk” where visitors can collect painted street art tags onto different objects as a memento of their visit to the House of Switzerland. www.onetruth.ch

11:00 – 21:00 Victorinox Art & Design Space
Victorinox will offer visitors to the House of Switzerland the chance to design their own Swiss Army Knife using a range of templates inspired by nature, the city of London and exclusive templates created by British Urban artist Inkie. A laser etching artist will be in the Victorinox flagship store at 95-96 New Bond Street, Mayfair, W1 on the 24th July and 13th August so all visitors to the House of Switzerland will receive their Swiss Army Knife free of charge when they collect it in store on one of these days.

17:30 and 19:00 Art Battle “Switzerland vs. UK” - with Gilles Peterson
One Truth from Switzerland will compete against UK street artists Inkie and Chu. Within a limited amount of time, the four artists will need to demonstrate their skills and design an art work in front of the public. House of Switzerland visitors will act as a jury, and the Swiss-French DJ Gilles Peterson will intensify the battle with his selection of music.
