Lindt & Sprüngli
The history of Lindt & Sprüngli begins in 1845, when father and son manufactured for the first time solid chocolate in their small confectionary "Sprüngli & Son" in Zurich 's Old Town.
In 1899, the company acquired the production facilities, the manufacturing secrets and the famous brand from Rodolphe Lindt and, by the same occasion, the company name was changed into Chocoladefabriken Lindt & Sprüngli AG.
Thanks to the "Conche", a revolutionary process invented by Rodolphe Lindt in 1879, the first melting chocolate in the world was created. Lindt's innovative discovery made a decisive contribution to the international reputation of Swiss chocolate. Based on this true pioneering spirit, Lindt & Sprüngli has constantly developed and expanded its know-how and expertise in premium chocolate making.
Offering the widest selection of chocolate products in more than 80 countries around the world LINDT has become a household brand for highest quality chocolate.
