Take the House of Switzerland home with you!

The House of Switzerland Canada 2010 is conducting an online auction with selected items from the sponsors and partners of its houses in Vancouver and Whistler. Proceeds of the auction are going to the Streetohome Foundation. A Vancouver-based community organization, Streetohome Foundation is dedicated to ensuring that residents of the city have access to safe, decent, affordable housing and the support they need to make a difference in their lives.

"Vancouver and Whistler have been very welcoming to the Swiss team, partners and sponsors working at the House of Switzerland Canada 2010. We have been made to feel right at home. We are extremely happy to be part of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games and want to share some of our luck and give something back to the residents of the city,” says Manuel Salchli, Director of the House of Switzerland Canada 2010. He adds, “A charity auction for the Streetohome Foundation just feels like the right thing to do."

Streetohome Foundation is a community organization working to ensure that all citizens of Vancouver have access to safe, decent, affordable housing. If you have been contacted by us and hold the highest bid on a item here is how to pick it up:

1) The bidding closed on 28 February 2010 at noon. The highest bidders will be contacted by phone on 28 February in the afternoon.

2)  Items have to be picked up at the House of Switzerland in Vancouver on 1 March 2010, 5-10 p.m.: Bridges Restaurant , 1696 Duranleau Street, Granville Island, Vancouver, B.C. V6H 3S4. Credit cards and cash accepted, no home delivery.
